My Approach

I have trained in a range of evidence-based approaches, and over time have centred my practice around somatic and processing-oriented modalities, including EMDR, Brainspotting, Flash Technique, and parts-based work.

I offer focused, goal-oriented therapy aimed at helping people move out of patterns of restriction, emotional pain and/or limitation, into beliefs and emotional states that feel much more aligned, free and authentic.

I track changes in the nervous system in real time and adjust the pace and focus accordingly. This allows for depth without overwhelm, and supports relatively quick shifts into more adaptive states.

My emphasis is on relevance and processing someone’s core issues as soon as can be tolerated. We work toward clearly defined areas of change, using targeted processing rather than open-ended exploration. Many clients find this approach reduces the overall time required in therapy.

Where appropriate, I teach adapted processing tools that can be used between sessions. This supports continuity of work and helps develop processing skills that can be used in self-guided practices.
