I am trained in Trauma Sensitive Mindfulness and follow the research that is available on Mindfulness and Open focus meditation. These two forms of meditation have been shown to improve our mental and physical health, reduce stress, and increase our ability to sit with painful emotions. In addition, meditation can be used as a way to mentally rehearse our new ways of thinking and acting, as we work toward change in therapy. My aim is to help people adopt and integrate meditation and therapy skills into their daily lives, so that anyone can become self-sufficient in managing their mental health.
